Midnite Creativity Live is an immersive experience that blends live music, in-depth artist conversations, and industry insights. This edition features Suncatjah, a synth-driven dub artist who fuses reggae, house, and electronic elements into a rich sonic landscape. Alongside Oscill8 Collective, we’ll explore the craft, the culture, and the journey of live electronic music in Alberta.

Suncatjah (Byron Fredrick)

Byron Fredrick (aka Suncatjah) is a Calgary-based musician and producer with a background spanning Reggae, Soca, Rock, Funk, and Electronic music. His performances feature broken and 4/4 beats, Rhodes keys, TB 303 grooves, and deep, immersive basslines, all soaked in reverb, delay, and feedback loops to create hypnotic, atmospheric textures.
