The Millarville Christmas Market, established in 1988 is one of the premier craft and artisan shows in Alberta.
You’ll enjoy eight fabulous days of food trucks, music,  photos with Santa, face painting, Santa’s workshop, hay rides, reindeer and some of your all-time favorite seasonal vendors as well as many new vendors!
Dress in layers to visit both the indoor and outdoor vendors with four heated indoor areas, Arena, Hall, the Quonset, and large heated tent. Proper footwear a consideration as it can be muddy.
The Millarville Christmas Market has stuck with the timed ticketed entry to provide all visitors with a more comfortable shopping experience. Over the years we have outgrown our facility with the number of guests coming, this helps us spread out the numbers, so it is not so unpleasantly crowded and conducive to a great shopping experience for you and our vendors!
For health and safety regulation reasons, dogs are not permitted in the Market Area (service dogs welcome). Please leave your pooches at home when you visit. However, you might find some homemade dog treats among our vendors to return home with!

Overflow Camping 
- There are 2 overflow camping areas.  North Overflow Camping lot which is located directly north of the venue and the Ken McDonald sports park.  Open areas around the Taber Agriplex located ½ km SE of the venue.  Shuttle service provided from this lot. Spots in overflow lots are all first come first serve.   ALL SITES ARE UNSERVICED
 
All Ticket Sales are FINAL.  Please be aware of ticket scams.  Tickets should ONLY be purchased through Spider Entertainment's website which is partnered with Showpass.  If you purchase a ticket from a third party, make sure tickets are transferred through Showpass to protect yourself!

All camping/ tenting sites are NON SERVICED sites.
Prices are for all 3 days
Porta potties and non-potable water stations will be available throughout the camping areas.
Camping is for 3 nights (July 24th - 26th) You MUST vacate the site before 1pm on July 27th.
All sites are within a 10 minute walk, but there will be shuttles available too.
Upon purchasing camping in premier or main camping areas, you will be able to pick a specific area or block, but you will not be able to choose your specific spot. However, within 1-2 weeks after camping spots are purchased, you will be assigned a specific spot in the area or block you chose. If you want to be assigned next to other camping friends or family, we will try to accommodate that as much as we can.  Those requests can be made to info@spiderentertainment.ca prior to Nov 20th at 6 PM.   Once assigned you will be notified of your spot by email.  This spot then becomes yours and will be reserved for your arrival.
Overflow camping is first come first serve!
Tenting spots will be assigned as well into spots within the camping blocks or other areas of the park. They will assigned in the order they are purchased and placed in the best spots first.

All camping sites will accommodate trailers / motor homes up to 40' in length. Most will accommodate even larger campers.  If you are longer than 40’ please let us know in an email to info@spiderentertainment.ca
Each camping/ tenting site will be allowed ONE (1) vehicle on the site. Extra vehicles can be parking in the main parking lot.
CORNSTOCK Camping areas are fenced/ closed off to general public. Therefore: wrist bands and vehicle passes must be shown at each checkpoint. You will not be permitted to enter the camping area without a weekend camping pass.  EXCEPTION Overflow Agriplex.
CORNSTOCK takes pride in our image! Please keep your campsite clean and maintained. Failure to do so will result in a $300 clean-up fee charged to the campsite holder's credit cared and/or eviction from the campground/ festival site and venue.
Propane fires are permitted. However - all fires must be attended at all times. Please follow local fire bans.
Generators will be allowed to operate between 8:00am to Midnight. If your generator makes excessive noise or creates fumes, you will be asked not to use it. We understand people have health related issues that require generators to run all night. In fairness to other campers, these generators must be of the "whisper quiet" make and not disturb other campers. Any non-compliance will result in eviction without refund.
Cornstock is not an ideal weekend for your pets. If you do choose to bring your pet, they must remain at your campsite, leashed and always attended to.

Preacher Lawson was born in Portland, OR but spent most of his adolescence in Memphis, TN. He moved 20 times before the age of 10, but if you asked him what city he's from he'd say Orlando, FL, because that's where he grew as a comedian. Lawson is best known for his appearance on season 12 of NBC's hit series, AMERICA'S GOT TALENT (2017) where he made it to the final round. Baed off his stellar performance in season 12, Lawson was invited to compete on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT: THE CHAMPIONS (2019) and BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT: THE CHAMPIONS (2019) where he advanced to the finale after receiving the most fan votes. Most recently he was handpicked by Howie Mandell to participate in AMERICA'S GOT TALENT: FANTASY LEAGUE (2024). Lawson shot his first stand-up special, GET TO KNOW ME, which premiered on BET+ in 2019, then Amazon. His most recent special MY NAME IS PREACHER is set to released globally on YouTube on March 14th 2024.

Preacher Lawson was born in Portland, OR, but spent most of his adolescence in Memphis, TN. He moved 20 times before the age of 10, but if you asked him what city he's from he'd say Orlando, FL, because that's where he grew as a comedian. Lawson is best known for his appearance on season 12 of NBC’s hit series, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT (2017) where he made it to the final round. Based off his stellar performance in season 12, Lawson was invited to compete on AMERICA'S GOT TALENT: THE CHAMPIONS (2019) and BRITAN’S GOT TALENT: THE CHAMPIONS (2019) where he advanced to the finale after receiving the most fan votes. Most recently he was handpicked by Howie Mandell to participate in AMERICA’S GOT TALENT: FANTASY LEAGUE (2024). Lawson shot his first stand-up special, GET TO KNOW ME, which premiered on BET+ in 2019, then Amazon. His most recent special MY NAME IS PREACHER was released globally on YouTube March 14th 2024.

Join us for the third installment of "Fantastical Failures," an inspiring series presented by VMSA, held during Calgary's Innovation Week. This event brings together successful entrepreneurs to share their failure stories, emphasizing the valuable lessons learned from their setbacks. It's a night dedicated to reflection and celebration, where leaders of multi-million dollar businesses and CEOs of emerging companies reveal the times they "totalled their car" and how these failures have shaped their journeys.
The journey to success is not an easy one. It's a high-speed road filled with potholes, hidden corners, and right turns that may cause you to hit a curb or two, and in some cases ruin the car that is your business. However, in VMSA, our focus is all about the driver and not the car. Cars get beat up and stop working, but the driver has the opportunity to move to a new car and take their learnings with them.
This event provides a setting for community and understanding for entrepreneurs, who often only see others' successes on social media. By celebrating failures, we want to highlight that they are a part of every person's journey.

The incredulous story of Donn Beach, creator of the Tiki Bar, and perhaps the most important influencer of modern-day cocktails and bar aesthetics.Better known as "Don the Beachcomber," Ernest Raymond Beaumont Gantt was an American maverick famous for telling entertaining, if unverifiable, stories about his life. There are slivers of truth to his tales – a youth spent in Jamaica, running rum during prohibition, hunting down cigars and liquor for troops in World War II, and bringing the first commercial l??au to Hawai’i. By combining audio from a 1986 interview with stop-motion animation reminiscent of a 1960s Christmas special, Donn comes to life. As we learn about Donn's travels through The South Seas, bootlegging in 1920s Hollywood, scavenging for liquor in Europe during WWII, and creating authentic travel experiences in Hawaii in the 1950s, we begin to understand who he was as a person, what drove him to do the things he did, and how his influence is still felt today.

About A Most Extraordinary Ride: Space, Politics, and the Pursuit of a Canadian Dream
On October 5th, 1984, Marc Garneau made history. Blasting off from the Kennedy Space Center aboard the U.S. Space Shuttle and reaching a speed of 28,000 km/hour, he became the first Canadian to fly to outer space. That monumental achievement, now etched in Canadian history as one of our country’s proudest moments, inspired a nation and ushered in a new era of space exploration for Canada. Twenty-four years later, Garneau made history yet again, becoming the first astronaut to be elected as a Member of Parliament.  In between those two milestones in Garneau’s unprecedented career, he was the first Canadian, and the first non-American, to serve as CAPCOM, the voice of Mission Control for the astronauts aboard the Space Shuttle. In the years that followed his historic first voyage to space, Garneau returned to space two more times, becoming the first Canadian to log three trips into orbit, and led the Canadian Space Agency through its most dynamic years.  In the House of Commons, Garneau would ultimately serve in two cabinet posts as Minister of Transport and Minister of Foreign Affairs during some of the biggest events of the past decade: the onset of one of the worst pandemics in modern times; the arbitrary detention of Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor by China; the fall of Afghanistan to the Taliban; and the death of 85 Canadian citizens and permanent residents aboard Ukrainian Airlines Flight 752, shot down by Iran.  It was no surprise, then, that when Marc Garneau announced his retirement after fourteen years in government, many Canadians lamented the loss of an upstanding parliamentarian who was not afraid to speak up for causes he believed in, even if that meant bucking his own party and its leader.   In A Most Extraordinary Ride: Space, Politics, and the Pursuit of a Canadian Dream, Garneau chronicles his once-improbable ascent from a mischievous teenager and rebellious naval midshipman to a decorated astronaut and statesman who represented Canada on the world stage – both on and off the planet. With candour and humour, Garneau describes the highs and lows of his life and career, including the awe he experienced first seeing the earth from space, the tragic loss of his first wife to mental illness and suicide, sailing across the Atlantic and back in a sailboat called “the Pickle,” and witnessing the tragedy of the doomed shuttle Challenger.  Honest and illuminating, A Most Extraordinary Ride is a rare journey into the early years of Canada’s space program and an inside account of the joys and challenges of governing from one of Canada’s most distinguished citizens.
About Marc Garneau
Marc Garneau has distinguished himself in three distinct fields. As a naval officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, he spent 10 years as a combat systems engineer. In 1984, Garneau became the first Canadian astronaut to go to space and, from 2001 to 2005, was president of the Canadian Space Agency. As a federal politician, he has served as Liberal house leader, Minister of Transport and Minister of Foreign affairs. He lives in Montreal with his wife, and has four children.
About Host David Gray
David Gray is a journalist, photographer, and adventurer. For many years, he was the host of the top-rated morning radio program The Calgary Eyeopener. Over his career with CBC he has filed stories from around the world and his radio and television documentary work has won national and international awards. Gray’s latest project is called GraydioCanada, a traveling podcast.

Do children 2 & under require a ticket?No. They do not require a ticket
Do I have to purchase my ticket in advance?Tickets can be purchased online at any time and will make your admittance into the market a much quicker experience. It is strongly advised that tickets be purchased prior to arriving at Spruce Meadows. If you wish, available tickets can be purchased onsite at the designated ticket booth with a debit/credit card.
Can I bring my pet to this event?No. Pets are strictly not allowed in the Christmas Market. Please leave your pet at home and not in your vehicle.
Can I use my Spruce Meadows scarf for entry?No. Scarves are only honoured for show jumping tournaments.  
Do Personal Care Attendants require a ticket?No. Customers with disabilities may bring a personal care attendant free of charge. Please identify yourself at the ticket booth as a PCA when accompanying the individual you are assisting into the event. 
Can purchased tickets be used on a different day than is stated on the ticket?No. Tickets are date specific. You will need to exchange your ticket for the proper day (see above)
