We are kicking off our season, connecting the world of theatre and curling with "Hurry Hard," a fresh and hilarious Canadian play by Kristen Da Silva. Performed in the perfect ambience of the Michener Curling Centre, this small-town story serves up big dreams, quirky relationships, and plenty of heart.
Meet a “divorced” couple, a hot newcomer, a washed-up hockey star, and a hairstylist-turned-chiropractor as they team up to take down their rivals in the regional bonspiel. Full of sharp wit and heartwarming moments, Hurry Hard captures the wild and wonderful dynamics of a curling team chasing glory.
Before the show, at intermission and post show, fuel up on grilled cheese and cold ones from the Michener Rink concession.

The Snowed In Comedy Tour has turned into a Canadian success story, celebrating its sixteenth year. It has grown to become the biggest comedy tour in Canada. Spots in overflow lots are all first come first serve.   ALL SITES ARE UNSERVICED
 
All Ticket Sales are FINAL.  Please be aware of ticket scams.  Tickets should ONLY be purchased through Spider Entertainment's website which is partnered with Showpass.  If you purchase a ticket from a third party, make sure tickets are transferred through Showpass to protect yourself!

All camping/ tenting sites are NON SERVICED sites.
Prices are for all 3 days
Porta potties and non-potable water stations will be available throughout the camping areas.
Camping is for 3 nights (July 24th - 26th) You MUST vacate the site before 1pm on July 27th.
All sites are within a 10 minute walk, but there will be shuttles available too.
Upon purchasing camping in premier or main camping areas, you will be able to pick a specific area or block, but you will not be able to choose your specific spot. However, within 1-2 weeks after camping spots are purchased, you will be assigned a specific spot in the area or block you chose. If you want to be assigned next to other camping friends or family, we will try to accommodate that as much as we can.  Those requests can be made to info@spiderentertainment.ca prior to Nov 20th at 6 PM.   Once assigned you will be notified of your spot by email.  This spot then becomes yours and will be reserved for your arrival.
Overflow camping is first come first serve!
Tenting spots will be assigned as well into spots within the camping blocks or other areas of the park. They will assigned in the order they are purchased and placed in the best spots first.

All camping sites will accommodate trailers / motor homes up to 40' in length. Most will accommodate even larger campers.  If you are longer than 40’ please let us know in an email to info@spiderentertainment.ca
Each camping/ tenting site will be allowed ONE (1) vehicle on the site. Extra vehicles can be parking in the main parking lot.
CORNSTOCK Camping areas are fenced/ closed off to general public. Therefore: wrist bands and vehicle passes must be shown at each checkpoint. You will not be permitted to enter the camping area without a weekend camping pass.  EXCEPTION Overflow Agriplex.
CORNSTOCK takes pride in our image! Please keep your campsite clean and maintained. Failure to do so will result in a $300 clean-up fee charged to the campsite holder's credit cared and/or eviction from the campground/ festival site and venue.
Propane fires are permitted. However - all fires must be attended at all times. Please follow local fire bans.
Generators will be allowed to operate between 8:00am to Midnight. If your generator makes excessive noise or creates fumes, you will be asked not to use it. We understand people have health related issues that require generators to run all night. In fairness to other campers, these generators must be of the "whisper quiet" make and not disturb other campers. Any non-compliance will result in eviction without refund.
Cornstock is not an ideal weekend for your pets. If you do choose to bring your pet, they must remain at your campsite, leashed and always attended to.

When Del Barber set to writing the 12 songs that comprise his eighth album, he adhered more than ever to a prairie aesthetic. The record follows Barber’s acclaimed 2021 album Stray Dogs: Collected B- Sides Vol. 1, made during the height of pandemic restrictions. Stray Dogs, which brought Barber to the end of one season, Almanac doggedly led him into the next.
“I want my work to be seen as subtle by definition,” Barber says. “I want my statements to come across as questions rather than decrees or opinions. Some of the songs are descriptions of my world through my own eyes, a way of songwriting I’ve never felt I’ve done well until now. Writing Almanac felt like I had another chance. It felt like spring.”
After writing Almanac on his farm 400 kilometers northwest of Winnipeg, where he lives with his wife and two children, the 3-time Juno Award nominee took his road band into the city. The album was recorded at No Fun Club in the space of a week with co-producers Grant Siemens and Scott Franchuk. Barber says that he wanted the atmosphere in the studio to be spontaneous and collaborative, traits that definitely shine through on Almanac’s lively, unpolished sound. “It was a really beautiful session,” he says. “There were no grand intentions, just an aim to get good friends and players together and record a pile of my songs. Going into this session I really wanted to enjoy the process, not think too hard, and just keep it simple and honest. I had a group of great songs and I really didn’t want to stand in their way.”

150 Years Later: Reflecting on Fort Calgary’s Legacy
The year 2025 marks 150 years since the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) established Fort Calgary on the land near the confluence of the Bow and Elbow rivers — land that was already a place of gathering and ceremony for the Niitsitapi of the Blackfoot Confederacy, the Îethka Nakoda Wîcastabi First Nations, the Dene people of Tsuut’ina First Nation and the historic Northwest Métis.
In commemorating this milestone, The Confluence invites community to reflect on the legacy of the North-West Mounted Police (NWMP) at Fort Calgary and examine the historical and contemporary impacts of settler-colonialism.

Two country music powerhouses, Taylor-Rae and Antonio Larosa, join forces at the legendary King Eddy on February 21.
About Taylor-Rae:
Taylor-Rae’s soaring vocals have turned heads in country music from Canada all the way down to Nashville, Tennessee.
Kicking off the year on a high, Taylor-Rae took home her first two British Columbia Country Music Associated Awards for Female Artist of the Year and Song of the Year for her 2023 power ballad “If This Is Love”.
Taylor-Rae rang in the new year at the Edmonton Ice District where she played for thousands of people, opening for Josh Ross. She made her Whiskey Jam debut on the eve of her release for Honest the EP, which has over 4.5 millions streams collectively. The EP garnered support from DSPs including the cover of Amazon Music’s Breakthrough Country and a billboard in Times Square.
Taylor-Rae kicked off the festival season at top speed making her CMA Fest debut, landing the Spotlight Stage, following Dolly Parton. About Micah Sage:
Micah Sage is an Alternative/Pop artist from Calgary, Alberta, known for her unique blend of dreamy, soulful, and cinematic sound. A self-taught writer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer, she gained attention with her self-produced debut EP in 2023, which earned notable radio play across North America and charted success. Her music has garnered media recognition, including features in local press and on TV, as well as interviews on prominent radio stations across Canada. Throughout 2023 and 2024, Sage has graced stages from Toronto to Vancouver, and most recently played the Coca-Cola Stage at the Calgary Stampede. Her sophomore EP, The Radical Acceptance (September 2024), marks another ambient milestone in her growing career.
About Ella Jean:
Ella Jean makes a variety of sad girl rock songs and poppy-gay new wave beats. She started in Calgary before she moved to the UK at 18 to become a producer, musician, and singer. Alessandro's love for music started very early, listening for hours to his dad playing every kind of music with his 12-string guitar or his organ. Alessandro has been an avid Elvis fan since he was a kid, it all started when his brother bought a cassette tape with the early rock’n’roll songs on Side A, and the 70’s ballads on Side B.
Alessandro has performed in multiple provinces in Canada, in Cuba in Italy and in the USA. Alessandro has appeared on Global TV and on multiple local newspapers in Canada. Alessandro has started competing in 2022 and he has already won the following awards: Grand Champion 2024 Angus Rock'n'roll Festival, Winner of Elvis Professional division 2024 Angus Rock'n'roll Festival, Grand Champion Non-Pro Division at the 2024 Penticton Elvis Festival in beautiful Penticton, British Columbia; First place Elvis Non-Pro Category at the 2023 Rock'n'Roll Festival in Angus Ontario; Kevin Dorion Award at the 2023 Rock'n'Roll Festival in Angus Ontario; TJ Jackson Spirit Of Elvis award at the 2022 Elvis Festival in Tweed, Ontario. Welcome to a heartfelt amazing evening. We are honoured to welcome DRUMSPYDER back to Treaty 7 territory to share his music medicine with us all. Experience an expansive night of music, dance, community and heart 
Drumspyder weaves a web of percussive rhythm, melody, and line. Framedrums, tambourines, and low whistles mingle with bass beats and ethereal atmospheres, bringing the Celtic and British Islands traditional music into vital contemporary expression.
Scott Sterling has always followed the path of rhythm. Over the course of a long journey through diverse forms of drumming and dance music: avant-garde circus, slinky bellydance troupes, and acclaimed bass-music productions, the one constant has been the beat of the drum.
Over the past several years he has specialised in the realm of framedrums and tambourines. Influenced by modern framedrum masters such as Glen Velez and David Kuckhermann, but also inspired by the rhythms of the Irish bodhran, he follows a distinctive path through the world of contemporary percussion: fusing his experience with cross-cultural framedrum techniques and Arabic rhythms with a new-found love of Celtic dance music.
To this rhythmic foundation he adds traditional melodies (played on low whistles and various keyboards) drawn from the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and England , as well as the rich repertoire of Medieval and Renaissance music from the British Isles.
Out of the alchemy of rhythm, melody, and his long experience in dance music production, he has forged a unique approach to Celtic and Renaissance/Medieval fusion, where elements of trance, bass-heavy electronica, and ethereal atmospheres mingle into an intoxicating brew.
His overall ambition is to connect traditional rhythms, drumming and melodies with the contemporary dancefloor.

Born and raised in the City of Angels, the globe-trotting, genre-hopping, hard-hustling artist—who was recently named by i Mixmag as one of 2023’s breakthrough DJs of the year and is also part of Beatport & Next’s class of of 2024—is unbound by dance music orthodoxy, opting instead for an “anything goes as long as it bangs” approach that reflects the unique cultural palette of ( % her hometown. Growing up Mexican in LA, Bianca heard G-funk blasting out of cars and “ { Se cumbia coming out of the stereo at backyard BBQs, and during her teen years, she : started spending her nights soaking up electro, house and all sorts of heavy bass music, most often in the city’s vibrant underground club and warehouse rave scene. She’s still raving today, and as a DJ, she’s intent on connecting the dots between seemingly disparate sounds, as likely to drop dancehall, reggaeton, hip-hop, R&B or even a cheeky pop edit as she is to unleash a torrent of gut-rumbling grime, dubstep, hardcore or some other bass-heavy sound. Bianca is the rare selector who can tear the roof off just about anywhere, and in the past few years, she’s showcased her skills not only at world-renowned festivals like Bass Coast, Glastonbury, Fusion and Boomtown, but also at iconic clubs like London’s fabric and Barcelona’s Razzmatazz. Still, it’s Warp Mode—the LA party she throws alongside fellow bass fiends Star Eyes and AK Sports—where she’s most comfortable, and not just behind the decks. Aside from providing a consistent platform for femme/non-binary, queer and POC artists, Warp Mode has become a beacon for low-end freakers from Southern California and beyond, which is why its unique brand of neon-streaked mayhem was broadcast to the world via an unforgettable Boiler Room takeover in 2023. Away from the dancefloor, Bianca also heads up Club Aerobics, a label and monthly radio show that’s been airing on NTS since 2017. And while CEE aD she has a fantastic ear for other people’s tunes, if sil NS she’s also made plenty of bangers of her own, flexing her production skills on releases for labels like N.A.A.F.I, Magic City and Future Bounce. For decades, Calgary’s own Jory Kinjo and Aaron Young have wowed audiences around the world. Now they’re uniting their talents into one project, the aptly named Kinjo & Young. Jory Kinjo brings a unique history to his music and draws from his experiences playing and performing soul, ska, reggae and rhythm & blues all over the world. He’s played with bands including the Mocking Shadows and Planet Smashers, and he’s appeared with a wide array of artists from UB40 to South African jazz legend Hugh Masekela to Ziggy Marley. Aaron Young, by the time he was just 23 years old, had already produced, arranged and performed on over 15 albums. In the last 30 years he’s produced and/or played on over 180 albums and played on over 7,500 live stage performances spanning across the globe. Don’t miss this chance to see two legends together on one stage!
Calgary-based guitarists Linden Conroy and Ben Tizzard have been fixtures of the local music scene for many years. Individually, Linden and Ben are well-rounded freelance musicians with their own unique experiences, accolades and musical styles. Among their many accomplishments, Linden has performed with The Marcus Trummer Band since he was 14 years old, while Ben was a finalist in the Stampede Talent Show and performed as the guitarist in the country musical May We All. However, when they come together as a duo, their musical relationship is seamless. Ben’s jazz and folk background lends itself to intricate fingerpicking and delicate nuances, while Linden’s experience in country and blues adds depth and soul to their sound. Both artists are committed to their craft, always striving to push the boundaries of what is possible with the guitar.
