Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by May 17, 2024, will receive an invitation to watch an exclusive, season ticket holder only team practice. 
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by June 3, 2024, will receive a popcorn card for free popcorn at every home game.
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by July 1, 2024, will receive additional complimentary tickets (equal to the number of season tickets purchased) to our South Texas Showdown games against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.

15 Game Basketball Mini Plan - General Admission

Faculty Artist Series
Diane Taylor, described as a “clear, beautifully colored soprano” by the Broad Street Review in Philadelphia and “sweetly endearing” by Music in Cincinnati, is an artist based in Brownsville, Texas. She recently founded, Alium Spiritum, a chamber vocal quartet dedicated to one-on-a-part music and school outreach. Diane is currently a Part Time Lecturer of Voice for the UTRGV School of Music and a soprano faculty for Berkshire Choral International.
She is assisted by Micahel Ensign on piano. Ensign, a Collaborative Pianist, earned his bachelor's degree in music education with a Vocal Emphasis from Millikin University as well as his master's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Texas-Rio Grande Valley. Ensign's commitment extends to serving his community as the accompanist for the VSO Chorale and organist at the First Methodist Church of Harlingen. Presently, he directs music at the Harlingen Community Theatre and teaches theatre at Vanguard Academy Beethoven.

Grupo Fantasma is a nine-piece Grammy award winning Latin band formed in 2000 in Austin, Texas. The band consists of Latin percussion, guitar, bass, trumpet, baritone saxophone and trombone. The band performs a fusion of both new and traditional music and they have performed at international festivals and venues including two tours to Kuwait and Iraq to entertain US troops and a recent tour in Pakistan and Qatar. 
On the event day, CURRENT UTRGV students can get free admission by showing their valid ID or using the GET app. Venue opens at 6 PM.

The nationally award winning Mariachi Aztlán as traveled throughout Mexico, Canada and the United States as musical ambassadors, representing the beauty of the Hispanic music and cultural traditions. They are frequently invited as guest clinicians to teach at the major mariachi conferences throughout the US.  Mariachi Aztlán has been selected numerous times as the “Outstanding College or University Mariachi” in nationwide competition throughout the past twenty years.

What are the promises we endeavor to keep?  In this program, designed and developed collaboratively by the Opera Workshop students, themes of modern American life are explored and exposed through a variety of intersecting stories.  Promises to remember, to love, to forgive, and to accept are all put to the test by complex family relationships, coping with death, the hardship of financial insecurity, and struggles with mental health.

Enjoy 30+ action-packed Division I baseball games by getting your season tickets today! Renew or purchase your season tickets before the renewal deadlines for exclusive season ticket holder benefits.

Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by May 18, 2024, by the end of the 7th inning of the UTRGV vs. Sacramento State game, will be entered to win a suite for one game during the 2025 season.
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by June 14, 2024, will receive a season ticket holders recognition at a game during the 2025 season.
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by July 12, 2024, will receive an invitation to watch batting practice in the dugout for one game throughout the 2025 season.
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by August 16, 2024, will receive a popcorn card for free popcorn at every home game.
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by September 20, 2024, will receive additional complimentary tickets (equal to the number of season tickets purchased) to our South Texas Showdown games against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Fans who renew/purchase their season tickets by October 25, 2024, will receive an autographed card of the UTRGV baseball head coach, Coach Derek Matlock.

Introducing our UTRGV Swim & Dive Pass! Join us for the inaugural season of our women's Division I swimming and diving program by getting your swim & dive pass today! Admission is FREE to all swim & dive meets.
Seating at the Pharr Natatorium is all general admission, and a digital ticket is required for entrance. To receive your digital ticket for the meet of your choice, you will need to sign up for a swim & dive pass. Once you have signed up for your swim & dive pass, you will receive an email that includes your digital tickets to both of the UTRGV swimming and diving meets for the 2024-25 season! Simply show the digital ticket for the game of your choice to a UTRGV staff member at the gate to be scanned for entrance.

Mariachi Sol de Mexico de Jose Hernandez will be the featured mariachi at the FESTIBA Mariachi Festival 2025, on March 2, 2025. Jóse Hernàndez is a master of mariachi music. An internationally recognized musician, composer and arranger, he is the leading mariachi educator in the nation. He has recorded with the most respected and recognized names in the industry, including Selena, Vicente Fernandez, Luis Miguel, and the Beach Boys, and has received four Grammy nominations.
On the day of the event, CURRENT UTRGV students can get free admission by showing their valid ID or using the GET app. Venue opens at 6 PM.

Dance: Ballet Folklorico - Alegria 2025

Ballet Español provides students the opportunity to study the art of Spanish dance which encompasses a great range of styles such as bailes folkloricos representing different regions of Spain; flamenco, the art of the gypsies of Spain and its "palos" such as Alegrias, Tangos, Solea, Bulerias, Siguiriyas; and Escuela Bolera, a style of classical dance and music from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries where classical ballet principles of turnout combine typical Spanish arm movements, with castanets, and flamenco footwork and folkloric steps, to create classical Spanish dance works like "La Boda de Luis Alonso". The Ballet Español presents formal public concerts and school concerts every spring and smaller events on campus and for the community throughout the year. 
Join us for a stunning display of Spanish dancing performed by UTRGV Ballet Espanol as well as live singing and music by Chayito Champion, vocalist and Steve Arispe on guitar!

Ballet Español ofrece a los estudiantes la oportunidad de estudiar el arte de la danza española que abarca una gran variedad de estilos, como bailes folklóricos que representan diferentes regiones de España; el flamenco, el arte de los gitanos de España y sus palos como Alegrías, Tangos, Solea, Bulerias, Siguiriyas; y Escuela Bolera, un estilo de danza clásica y música de los siglos XVIII y XIX donde los principios del ballet clásico de participación combinan los típicos movimientos de brazos españoles, con castañuelas, y juego de pies flamenco y pasos folclóricos, para crear obras de danza clásica española como "La Boda de Luis Alonso". El Ballet Español presenta conciertos públicos formales y conciertos escolares cada primavera y eventos más pequeños en el campus y para la comunidad durante todo el año.

The Ballet Folklórico is a thirty-two member organization comprised of students who are pursing degrees in a variety of disciplines. The Ballet presents student and public concerts annually and travels to present programs for local, state, national, and international private and public affairs. The Ballet has jointly produced ballets, concerts, zarzuelas, and musicals with the Valley Symphony Orchestra, the UTRGV Theatre, and the UTRGV Music Department.
