Cruise through the 200-foot Enchanting Tunnel of Lights, see the legendary BIGFOOT Monster Truck, and enjoy the whimsical Jurassic Christmas display featuring life-sized dinosaurs. Along the route, you'll also encounter the stunning 32-foot tall animated Barbie, adding even more festive delight. This captivating journey is sure to brighten your holiday season!

Ticketing Options:
Car Flex Pass - One ticket is all you need for everyone in your car (up to 8 people). You don’t need tickets for each person—just one for the whole vehicle! Tickets are flexible—there’s no need to book a date or time. Use your ticket on any day and time during the 2024 Magic of Lights season, up to January 4th.
Car Dash Pass - Skip the line! For only a few dollars more per vehicle, the Dash Pass allows you to bypass traffic and enter through the special Dash Pass lane.
Limo Dash Pass - Bypass the traffic and use the special Dash Pass Lane with the Limo Dash Pass. Load up your limo (9-16 passengers). Please note: Limos are not provided by the facility; guests must arrange their own transportation.
Bus Dash Pass - Ideal for large groups! The Bus Dash Pass allows vehicles holding 17+ passengers to skip the line using the special Dash Pass lane. Please note: Buses are not provided by the facility; guests must arrange their own transportation.
 A portion of proceeds from each vehicle supports 880 CHED Santas Anonymous and Canadian Tire Jumpstart, helping to spread joy and make a difference in our community.

Join us for a hilariously entertaining night at LPAC on March 9th for The Arrogant Worms, brought to you by Sunrise RV!
The Arrogant Worms have spent over three decades making fun of a big dumb world. Their songs have been played on the radio, the internet, and in outer space (on the space shuttle Endeavour). The Worms began at Queen’s University in 1991 when some members of the student cabaret group, The Queen’s Players, started writing songs and sketches for the campus radio station CFRC. Soon the group became The Arrogant Worms (Chris Patterson, Mike McCormick, and Trevor Strong) who have since toured ceaselessly across Canada (and select other parts of the world), released 13 albums, and recorded with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Their song, The Last Saskatchewan Pirate, has been covered by bands such as Captain Tractor and The Longest Johns, and their Happy Happy birthday song is a viral sensation with over one hundred million views of the various fan videos on YouTube. More than thirty years after they began, The Arrogant Worms continue to provide tuneful and silly escapism for everyone who needs it.

Fran has worked an eclectic mix of jobs including youth worker, career counsellor, proposal writer, and a ten-year stint as VP for a career consulting firm. Her short stories have appeared in literary journals from coast to coast, and her plays have been produced for both theatre and radio. Fran has published two novels. The Shore Girl landed on the CBC Top 40-Book List and won the Alberta Reader’s Choice Award. No Good Asking, shortlisted for the 2019 Georges Bugnet and ReLit Awards, has been translated for international markets. Fran’s third novel will hit bookshelves in the spring of 2025.

An exciting form of racing that creates a unique community, where racers and their friends, families and fans enjoy a weekend at the track and a chance to get out with others with a passion for racing. But it also means some highly competitive Drag Racing. Fans can see dragsters, cars, trucks, and Junior Dragsters, all of which are competing for prize money and the all-important series points that go toward series championships at the end of the season.
The Bracket Drag Series combined with the NHRA Division 6 regional competition is the weekly series where local sportsman racers vie for year end points championship. Electronics, Non-electronics, Top Eliminator, Cash is King 1/8 Mile, Street Sportsman and Jr. Dragster

Confusionaires have built a sound that’s synonymous with the best country and rockabilly acts around, with a strong penchant for original songwriting. Featuring Buddy Holly songs and stories, and a second set of covers from other 1950's artists mixed in with their own original songs - makes for a full night of 50's style rock & roll!

Confusionaires are a world-class traditional rock & roll band that are steeped in both big-city rock & roll and small-town country music. Hailing from Edmonton, Canada, the trio of musicians has built a sound that’s synonymous with the best country and rockabilly acts around, with a strong penchant for original songwriting.
Since they began to record their third full-length album, a pandemic project “Westernization,” Confusionaires have broadened both their sound, and their reach beyond the barstool dwellers to include not only independent radio listeners, but also the festival and theatre-going audiences of Alberta and beyond. Their push to reach live music fans in these settings has proven fruitful, growing their fan base and their status beyond what seemed possible when they performing in the spring of 2016.
To date, Confusionaires have played over 100 shows in Western Canada, having played gritty punk rock shows and pristine theatre concerts alike, earning new fans in both settings. Now the trio is embarking on their first-ever international tour, which takes them to Nayarit, Mexico to play 8 shows between February 16th and 26th, 2024 before returning to Canada to start pre-production on what will be their fourth studio album.

Under the Rocks is one of Canada’s premier emerging bluegrass acts. This heartfelt, talented bluegrass quartet that blends uplifting energy with a reflective reverence for the difficulties of reality that marries joy and sorrow and declares “YES”. Yes to all that it means to be alive on this planet, here and now.  

Hailing from Kelowna, Canada, Under the Rocks has emerged from a city with no other bluegrass acts to become one of Canada’s premier bluegrass bands. Featuring acoustic guitar (Jordan Klassen), fiddle (Chloe Davidson), banjo and mandolin (Chris Baxter), and upright bass (Nils Loewen) the band makes a big sound that tips its cap to tradition while incorporating singer-songwriter music intentionally put together with clever, inventive song arrangements, emotive instrumental breaks and powerful vocal harmony. Their shows commonly feature dancing, laughter, joyful hoots and hollers and serene moments accompanied by tears and tranquil sighs of release or appreciation.

So, much like Jane Goodall did with chimpanzees, this upbeat Miss studies her only available subjects: the customers of her coffee shop ‘jungle’… hilarity ensues! Created and developed by Toronto’s critically acclaimed solo performer, Rebecca Perry, Joanie Little brews up a storm that you won’t want to miss! Confessions of a Redheaded Coffeeshop Girl is the internationally successful show for anyone who has ever had a job they didn’t like.

As the Prairie Sons, cellist David Liam Roberts and pianist Godwin Friesen embody the expansive, nuanced perspective of their home landscape in their concert program. The two award-winning musicians met at the Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School of Music, and recognized a kindred spirit in each other. Both hail from the Prairies, began performing alongside other members of their families, and have been named to CBC’s list of Hot 30 Classical Musicians Under 30.

We are looking at creating intentions and living creatively in January. As part of this theme, we invite you to partake in an artist panel discussion on creating space for art and creativity in our lives, figuratively and literally! Including artists from multiple disciplines, we are looking to discuss how they successfully create space for their work (their physical space, penciling it out in their day-to-day, mentally decompressing/getting in the mindset, etc). This will be a guided discussion and then time for Q&A from the audience.Free to attend.
 
Panelists:
Christel Langan:
Christel Dawn Langan is a local artist who was raised and lives in Lacombe Alberta. In 2005, she received her Bachelors of Fine Art from NSCAD University in Halifax Nova Scotia. She paints with, oil, acrylic, encaustic and alcohol ink. She has also begun to use mixed media.
In 2012, Christel won a Master’s award for her painting ‘Blue Straw’ in the Alberta Community Arts Club Association’s, Alberta wide show. In 2014, her encaustic painting ‘Crystal’s Choice’, won the Presidents award at the ACACA Alberta wide show which is best overall painting in show. ACACA purchased this painting for their permanent collection.
Christel began selling her art at The Main Gallery in Lacombe, AB from 2017 until it closed in 2019. She continues to sell art works at different art shows in Alberta.
Creating art is how Christel deals with life. She enjoys focusing on small details and trying to figure out how to best show what she is seeing. In 2017, she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. Art allows Christel to feel like this is something she can still control in her life. It allows her to make some sort of sense in her always changing world.

Miji Campbell: 
Author of Separation Anxiety and Creator of Write Where You Are workshops. As a kid, I'd always dreamed of being a writer, but got serious about it after I had kids of my own. Five years into motherhood, ten years into a teaching career, I began to write. Eventually, my articles were featured in magazines and newspapers. After several years of writing about other people's life experiences, I wanted to write about my own. I went back to university to explore life writing and memoir. I hoped to write a book. Which sounded easy at the time. What I did learn was how writing personal stories helped me take care of myself. They balanced and sustained me. And I began to share this experience with others, offering "Write Where You Are" workshops to discover and honour the stories in each of us.
Mike Szabo: 
Mike Szabo had a late start to his music career. Truth is, he never saw it coming. In just a few short years Mike has written his own book of songs and has been featured on CKUA, CBC and Windspeaker Radio. What he loves most though, is perform for a live audience.  
Mikes school of music?Decades spent around Alberta Campfires, singing the songs of the some of the world’s best songwriters. While you may well hear those influences in his music, Mike has definitely found his own voice and his songwriting is beginning to be noticed. 
With words that don’t hold back and with his heart on his sleeve, Mike paints a vivid picture of life and the world around us, transporting you from a seat in the audience, to a special place in your memories and your heart. 
2024 brought Mike invitations to play his songs at folk clubs, festivals, civic events, house concerts and songwriters showcases around Alberta and with a new studio album soon to hit the airwaves, 2025 could be a busy year for this Alberta singer songwriter. 
Veronica Graves: 
Veronica Graves is a local Felt artist who was born and raised in the county of Ponoka. She grew up wild and free playing and exploring deep in the woods, which fueled her passion for nature.
 She has held many professional positions in work but the fiber arts have been her true passion and calling since 2018. Since then, felting has been a journey of discovery, healing from trauma, and teaching others.
Veronica has no formal training with fiber arts although her background in other mediums was part of her normal upbringing with her family. Pottery, painting, and gardening to name a few. She learned most of her techniques from other fiber artist in Russia via online classes.
Some publications Veronica was honored to be part of were in Prairie Living Magazine, Celebrate!- a magazine collaboration from felt:: feutre Canada, and Red Deer Scene.

The Blank is back! Rapid Fire Theatre's annual holiday tradition returns to the stage in December 2024. THE BLANK WHO STOLE CHRISTMAS is a somewhat-familiar but always original improvised take on the holiday classic by a similar name.
In this original Christmas musical, a cast of performers have memorized all their lines and rehearsed all their choreography, just to have it all ruined at a moment's notice. In each performance of THE BLANK the main character is played by a different guest improviser playing a character of their choice. The main character hasn't rehearsed with the rest of the cast and doesn't know any of their lines. The cast doesn't know who is crashing their performance until the moment it happens live on stage!

About the show:
Byron Martin and Simon Abbott are back at it again with their musical satire based on their favourite Christmas movie. Returning for the third year, this time even bigger and better! Sexy German criminal Alan Rickman-I-mean-Hans-Gruber leads an international gang of terrorists who seize an office tower during a Christmas party. John, a cop from New York, is trapped on the upper floors. He’ll need a Christmas miracle to save his power-dressing wife Holly and the other hostages. This Die-Hard-Christmas-Carol is about as stupid as it sounds with action packed comedy, tap dancing FBI agents and heartbreaking flashbacks of kids who are coughing too much.

This New Year’s Eve, celebrate in elegance with an all-new surf and turf dining experience at Blowers & Grafton Windermere. Tickets will include a 4oz Atlantic lobster tail, a 6oz AAA steak with B&G compound butter, and a garlic shrimp skewer. Served with our rustic B&G mash, roasted broccoli, and a grilled lemon.
 
The NYE Surf & Turf dining event will take place between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31st. Guests are required to purchase a ticket. Reservation times are listed on the ticket. Select the ticket with the time that you would like to attend.
