Experience the best of Haute Goat Farm with The Toodle Tour, a delightful new adventure that brings together the highlights of the farm’s most beloved experiences. This one-hour tour combines elements of the Goat Shmurgle, Alpaca Knuffel Shuffle, and Icelandic Horse Shnooble, creating an enchanting journey filled with laughter, connection, and endless photo opportunities.
The Toodle Tour is our newest experience! We have taken a chunk out of our 3 signature animal experiences and wrapped them back up for fun-filled animal snuggles and ideal photo ops. You will be visiting, learning about, and snuggling 3 different types of farm animals. Get up close to Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Huacaya Alpacas, and Icelandic Horses.
This tour is ideal for folks who want to see and experience it all and prefer less walking.
 Highlights:


Meet the Herd: Start your Toodle Tour by entering the paddock with our Alpacas and Babydoll Sheep. Pose for a selfie with Shadow the Alpaca, receive a kiss from Obi, and see if Feather invites you into the herd! Shaun the Sheep and his flock love socializing and will be eager for face rubs.


Icelandic Horse Encounter: Get up close with the farm’s majestic Icelandic Horses. These small but mighty steeds, who once carried Vikings into battle, are known for their incredible demeanors and stunning colors. You’ll interact with Elska, Lukka, or Fabina, forming a special bond with these remarkable animals.


Goat Playground: No tour is complete without a visit to the Goat Playground. Here, you’ll meet the heart of the farm—our Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Watch the older goats snooze, the youngsters play, and the babies bounce (seasonal). Snuggle, give scratches, and simply enjoy the goats' charming company.


 About the animals you will meet:
◉ Nigerian Dwarf Goats
We take you into the Goat Playground where everyone hangs out, bonds, learns about, and snuggles with our little goaties. We dare you to leave without a smile on your face - or maybe you won't leave at all!
◉ Huacaya Alpacas
Often referred to as “Dolphins of the Pasture”, Alpacas are sensitive, curious, and of course super cute. They have an incredible ability to bring balance and calm to us while you learn how to interact with our Alpaca herd.
◉ Icelandic Horses
Small but mighty these little horses carried the Vikings into battle so many years ago. They are one of the purest and most ancient breeds of horses still in existence. This experience will bring you up close and personal to our small herd of beautiful Icelandic Horses. During your time with the horses, you will learn about horse body language, and herd dynamics, followed by a grooming activity.

All-Weather Experience: The Toodle Tour runs in all weather conditions, so dress appropriately and wear closed-toe shoes for the best experience.


Minimal Walking: This tour involves minimal walking on gravel paths, making it accessible for most wheelchairs and strollers. Contact us with any mobility concerns.


Family-Friendly: Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.


Farm-to-Table Dining: Before or after your tour, treat yourself to a delicious meal at The Screaming Goat Café, featuring a farm-to-table menu.

John Alcorn brings his iconic Cole Porter Songbook to the Sergeants Mess Hall at Base31 - a celebration and exploration of the words and music of a 20th century legend. Canadian jazz lions Reg Schwager (guitar) and Roberto Occhipinti (bass) will share the stage with John for this incredibly special evening. Cole Porter was an American composer and songwriter, noted for his sophisticated, suggestive lyrics, clever rhymes, and complex forms. Unlike most successful Broadway composers, Porter wrote both the lyrics and the music for his songs.
Alcorn will share both top hits and some more obscure gems from Porter’s staggering catalogue of songs, a Jazz or Cabaret artist’s dream list.

John Alcorn John Alcorn is one of Canada’s premiere jazz vocalists. As singer, composer, lyricist, arranger and producer, his list of citations and acknowledgements in music and theatre includes both Jazz Report (Male Vocalist of the Year) and Dora (Outstanding Music) awards.The Toronto Star has called him, "...one of our finest interpreters of the ‘great American songbook,’ an artist who always knows how to walk the fine line between respecting the material and offering an original interpretation."
Roberto OcchipintiMultiple award recipient Roberto Occhipinti has won acclaim as a musician, composer, and record producer. Throughout his career, the Toronto-born bassist has performed in classical orchestras, jazz ensembles, Latin groups, rhythm & blues outfits, and rock bands. He has worked in theatre and opera, written for radio and television, played on film soundtracks and done more recording session jobs than he can remember. His list of recording credits includes work with Nelly Furtado, Rush, Al DiMeola, Holly Cole, Phil Ramone, Teo Macero, Gino Vanelli and Oscar Peterson. He has also performed in concert (and recorded) with Tito Puente, Dave Valentin, Memo Acevedo, Al Grey, Pat LaBarbera, Cleo Lane & John Dankworth, Mulgrew Miller and Chucho Valdes. In addition to his jazz work, Roberto Occhipinti is an accomplished classical bassist. He has been a member of The Winnipeg Symphony, The Hamilton Philharmonic, The Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, Arraymusic, New Music Concerts and the Esprit Orchestra.
Reg SchwagerReg Schwager is one of Canada’s most acclaimed jazz guitarists. Over the course of his 40-yearcareer, he has played with such notable musicians as Diana Krall, Mel Tormé, Chet Baker, ZootSims, George Shearing, and Oliver Jones. Schwager was named Guitarist of the Year at theNational Jazz Awards four years in a row, and was made a Member of the Order of Canada in2021 “for his indelible contributions to the Canadian jazz scene as a leading guitarist andcomposer.”

Sergeants Mess Hall

The 177-seat Sergeants Mess Hall at Base31 is the newest performance venue to open in Prince Edward County. This architectural gem has been renovated and repurposed as a unique and intimate concert venue, featuring state-of-the art sound and lighting, with its original historic charm and character retained. The Sergeants Mess Hall has a rich history dating back to its construction in 1939. The building was originally built as a mess hall for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) No. 31 Bombing and Gunnery School during World War II. During the war, the building served as a gathering place for the sergeants who were stationed at the base. It was a place where they could relax, eat meals, and socialize with their fellow soldiers. After the war, the base was decommissioned and the building served a variety of purposes over the years, including as a community centre, a school, and a storage facility.

Join us for a night of unforgettable New Year's Eve festivities as Shakura S'Aida takes us on a musical journey to welcome in 2025. Shakura holds a special connection to Prince Edward County, as her family once owned and operated The Stache on Main in Wellington, renowned for its magical New Year's Eve events. Now, she's back to recreate that magic with a spectacular performance that promises to make your New Year's Eve one to remember.
Shakura and her talented band are here to help you ring in the New Year with a fantastic selection of your favourite ‘70s hits. S’Aida and her band will be performing various tracks including the sounds of Led Zeppelin, Marvin Gaye, Dolly Parton, Bob Marley, Michael Jackson and many more.
Doors will open at 9:00 PM and the entertainment and celebration continues until 1:30 AM. Your ticket includes a glass of bubbly at midnight plus some light snacks to keep you satiated during the evening.
As always, we will have a variety of beverages available for purchase to keep your energy up for dancing the night away. Our dress code is casual and comfortable and ‘70s-inspired, so you can move and groove freely on the dance floor.
This is a reserved seating event with cabaret tables along with high-top tables & stool seating available. Table service will be available, and a dance floor will be open for guests to enjoy.
