Experience the best of Haute Goat Farm with The Toodle Tour, a delightful new adventure that brings together the highlights of the farm’s most beloved experiences. This one-hour tour combines elements of the Goat Shmurgle, Alpaca Knuffel Shuffle, and Icelandic Horse Shnooble, creating an enchanting journey filled with laughter, connection, and endless photo opportunities.
The Toodle Tour is our newest experience! We have taken a chunk out of our 3 signature animal experiences and wrapped them back up for fun-filled animal snuggles and ideal photo ops. You will be visiting, learning about, and snuggling 3 different types of farm animals. Get up close to Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Huacaya Alpacas, and Icelandic Horses.
This tour is ideal for folks who want to see and experience it all and prefer less walking.
 Highlights:


Meet the Herd: Start your Toodle Tour by entering the paddock with our Alpacas and Babydoll Sheep. Pose for a selfie with Shadow the Alpaca, receive a kiss from Obi, and see if Feather invites you into the herd! Shaun the Sheep and his flock love socializing and will be eager for face rubs.


Icelandic Horse Encounter: Get up close with the farm’s majestic Icelandic Horses. These small but mighty steeds, who once carried Vikings into battle, are known for their incredible demeanors and stunning colors. You’ll interact with Elska, Lukka, or Fabina, forming a special bond with these remarkable animals.


Goat Playground: No tour is complete without a visit to the Goat Playground. Here, you’ll meet the heart of the farm—our Nigerian Dwarf Goats. Watch the older goats snooze, the youngsters play, and the babies bounce (seasonal). Snuggle, give scratches, and simply enjoy the goats' charming company.


 About the animals you will meet:
◉ Nigerian Dwarf Goats
We take you into the Goat Playground where everyone hangs out, bonds, learns about, and snuggles with our little goaties. We dare you to leave without a smile on your face - or maybe you won't leave at all!
◉ Huacaya Alpacas
Often referred to as “Dolphins of the Pasture”, Alpacas are sensitive, curious, and of course super cute. They have an incredible ability to bring balance and calm to us while you learn how to interact with our Alpaca herd.
◉ Icelandic Horses
Small but mighty these little horses carried the Vikings into battle so many years ago. They are one of the purest and most ancient breeds of horses still in existence. This experience will bring you up close and personal to our small herd of beautiful Icelandic Horses. During your time with the horses, you will learn about horse body language, and herd dynamics, followed by a grooming activity.

All-Weather Experience: The Toodle Tour runs in all weather conditions, so dress appropriately and wear closed-toe shoes for the best experience.


Minimal Walking: This tour involves minimal walking on gravel paths, making it accessible for most wheelchairs and strollers. Contact us with any mobility concerns.


Family-Friendly: Children under 16 years old must be accompanied by an adult.


Farm-to-Table Dining: Before or after your tour, treat yourself to a delicious meal at The Screaming Goat Café, featuring a farm-to-table menu.


Photo-Ready: Bring a fully charged phone with ample storage space for capturing all the magical moments.

On Saturday June 7th Ottawa native Brian Patafie will be coming to Shoeless Joes in Bellville with his FUNNY AS PUCK show 2025. Just four years ago Brian finished a forty four year career as an athletic trainer in professional hockey including almost twenty years with the Calgary Flames. He also spent two years in Frankfurt Germany with the Lowen Frankfurt (Frankfurt Lions). Brian kept notes and following his hockey career he turned those notes into a standup comedy routine and has shared not only his hockey stories but his dysfunctional life stories all across North America as well as on a multi city multi show tour of the United Kingdom back in October of 2022. Brian was asked by Ken Reid on Sportsnet why he left the Flames back in 1999 and Brian's trademark reply was "medical reasons....management got sick of me!" Brian will be joined by Ottawa comedians Chris Connolly and Chad Noonan. Don't miss the opportunity to see one of the most charismatic and entertaining figures from the world of professional hockey share his life on stage.

ABOUT THE VENUE
Sergeants Mess Hall

The 170-seat Sergeants Mess Hall at Base31 is the newest performance venue to open in Prince Edward County. This architectural gem has been renovated and repurposed as a unique and intimate concert venue, featuring state-of-the art sound and lighting, with its original historic charm and character retained. The Sergeants Mess Hall has a rich history dating back to its construction in 1939. The building was originally built as a mess hall for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) No. 31 Bombing and Gunnery School during World War II. During the war, the building served as a gathering place for the sergeants who were stationed at the base. It was a place where they could relax, eat meals, and socialize with their fellow soldiers. After the war, the base was decommissioned and the building served a variety of purposes over the years, including as a community centre, a school, and a storage facility.
