Outside of our curated vendors, we host sideshow performers on stage all throughout the day and the opportunity to learn the craft of taxidermy with classes available during the expo. Class Description:
Unleash your creativity and curiosity in our Introductory Taxidermy Class hosted by The Sleeping Sirens! Designed for beginners, this hands-on course offers a fascinating glimpse into the art and science of taxidermy. 
What to Expect:
Class begins promptly at 10am and ends at 4pm. 
We provide each student with either a skinned, cleaned, and tanned racoon or rabbit hide depending on the workshop you are taking. 
The first half of class is focused on preparing your form, setting the eyes, test fitting and mounting the hide, as well as grooming. 
After our first 30-minute break class shifts towards base preparation and mounting your project. 
The class runs for approximately 6 hours with two 30-minute breaks throughout the day.

CNPL Draft RegistrationIn an effort to enhance the inclusivity of our league, CNPL has decoupled pre-season event registration from draft registration. This means that individuals who may not be interested in pursuing a professional career immediately, or at all, can still participate in the thrilling competitive atmosphere of the CNPL’s team amateur events. This new structure allows for broader participation, giving more people the chance to experience the joy of competitive pickleball.
To be eligible for the CNPLIII draft you must 1) fill out the registration details, 2) pay the administrative fee, and 3) join or build a team and participate in one of the CNPL Amateur Showdown events.
Two registration types

New players are those who have never before registered for or participated in the CNPL.
Returning players are those who registered for the draft and participated in a qualifier in 2023 or 2024. They receive a discount because they are already setup across our systems and require less administrative work.

Am I lost?This "event" is for professional and aspiring professional pickleball players to register for the 2025 CNPL Draft. If you are looking to participate in a CNPL Amateur Showdown go HERE.

Who: Legal residents of Canada and Citizens of Canada who are 18 years of age and older and meet all the eligibility requirements in the terms and conditions.
Why: The CNPL is the pinnacle of pickleball in Canada and currently the only place in Canada you can get paid consistently to play pickleball. 
Steps to Participate:

Ensure you meet the eligibility criteria outlined by the Canadian National Pickleball League in the terms and conditions.
Complete registration for the CNPLIII Draft and pay your administrative fee.
Sign up for and participate in one of the CNPL Amateur Showdown events in March 2025.

Synopsis

Paul Quarrington was a prolific musician and songwriter as well as one of Canada’s most beloved writers. One of his novels, Whale Music, was called “the greatest rock’n’roll novel ever written.” This event is presented by his closest musical associates on the 15th anniversary of Paul’s passing on January 21, 2010, aged 56.
Stuart Laughton’s RADIO DIAL features Martin Worthy (Paul’s long-time song-writing partner), vocalist Rebecca Campbell (both were both members, with Paul and Stuart, of the blues-rock band Porkbelly Futures), Burke Carroll, Steve Lucas and Megan Worthy. Guests will contribute music and reminiscences to celebrate this portrait of an extraordinary artist who is sorely missed. Tuesday January 21.

Inspired by our latest exhibition Art/Wear: Sneakers x Artists, we’ve teamed up with YETI Arts (Youth Engagement Through Interactive Arts) to host an exciting Art/Wear Sneaker Battle. Watch and cheer as six talented local artists go head-to-head (er…toe-to-toe), to transform basic sneakers into extraordinary works of art. The night will be filled with high energy, music by DJ D-Smooth, and an artist marketplace. Come out to witness the fusion of creativity, culture, and footwear come to life. Whether you’re an art lover, sneaker enthusiast, or just looking for a unique night out, this event is not to be missed.
Artists Competing:
Anwar Kush (aka KUSH or Cushnie)Born in Kingston, Jamaica and trained at both Sheridan College and PLC Detroit , designer and artist Anwar Kush blends digital expertise with a traditional background in tattooing, illustration, and graphic design. His work navigates a broad scope of influences including surrealism, comic, pop art, and realism that result in a complex yet simplistic digital style inspired by themes of cultural and historical moments expressed with newfound flexibility. 
Erika FloresErika is a multi-media Toronto artist who uses diverse mediums such as digital illustration, acrylic glass paintings, and engravings, often creatively telling stories through a unique blend of poetry and video. She is best known for her work in illustration for brands such as Nike, WNBA, NBA, Microsoft, and PWHL Toronto Sceptres. 
EGRGraffiti artist turned illustrator, EGR is an award-winning contemporary visual artist based in Toronto who has worked with clients such as the City of Toronto, TIFF, Universal Music, MUCH Music, Toyota, VW, BOSS, Indigo, Tiffany & Co., Holt Renfrew, and Sephora, to name a few. From illustrations to murals, EGR art has appeared in books, magazines, newspapers, album covers and everything in between. Her work was included in Canada’s first national exhibition of street art shown at the ROM, AGO, and McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Her work challenges perceptions of public art and graffiti, portraying the dichotomy between nature and industry.
 Elize Stolk 
Marvin MarianoMarvin has worked with an impressive list of clients including Hasbro, Mattel, Marvel Entertainment, DC Comics, Image Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Dreamworks LLC., 20th Century Fox, National Geographic, Lucasfilm, and Lucas Licensing. His work can been seen on popular shows such as Transformers: Beast Machines, the G.I. Joe: Spy Troops movie, Season 3 of Doc starring Billy Ray Cyrus, and Carl2 for Teletoon. Marvin is also a professional Tattoo artist specializing in Realism, Cover-Ups, Portraits and unique custom works. Rechie ModesChie Modes is a Filipino artist and full time tattooist based in Toronto. Modes works with different styles and mediums from acrylic, oil paints, watercolour, coffee, and sometimes wood burning and murals. Modes works in a private studio and loves how art connects people in different ways, creating meaningful relationships.

King of Pop vs Queen of Soul

A theatrical meditation on environmental collapse.
A world premiere production from Bad New Days created and directed by Adam Paolozza imagines a future where we find alternative ways to reconnect with and remember nature.
In a sometime somewhere devoid of nature, posthuman ‘workers’ enter an empty space and assemble a series of artificial landscapes out of found objects, striving with their bodies to recreate the natural world from memory. But is it the deep past we see, or some genetically modified future? 
Last Landscape blends Bad New Days’ signature brand of physical theatre with an eco-dramaturgical, DIY aesthetic to create a slowly transforming, imagistic meditation on extinction, ecological grief, and interspecies care, where colossal puppets of prehistoric megafauna roam free. On the brink of environmental collapse, the production offers hopeful possibilities for how we all might share this big green miraclemarble.
