As a homegrown ticketing platform, Showpass is proud to partner with Alberta brewers and work together in growing Alberta’s economy.
Alberta’s craft beer scene has exploded. In the past 5 years, the number of Alberta Breweries went from 27 to 123. Combine the growth of the beer industry with the recent acquisitions of 2 Calgary breweries Wild Rose and Banded Peak, it’s very clear that craft beer is up-and-coming. It’s delicious news for our province.
The best part is that all these craft breweries are key contributors to our communities. They hire locally, process our province’s world-class agriculture, and contribute to Alberta’s economic diversification.
We’re very excited to be a part of that. In recognition of our partnership, Showpass is extending a discount to members of the Alberta Small Brewers Association (ASBA), a non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of Alberta brewers. Members of ASBA will now receive a significant discount on user fees in their first year and a solid discount for the following years.
That said, prices are based on a per-ticket sold model where the fees can be passed onto the buyer, so there is no cost to the event organizer.
As the official ticket platform for the Alberta Beer Festivals, Trolley 5 and Wild Rose, we’re no stranger to craft beer. Brewers are all about community and bringing people together which is perfect because they have unique venues for increasing revenue streams with events, tastings, beer classes, and live music.
Why else is Showpass good for small breweries?
We’d like to raise a glass to the continued success of Alberta beer sales. We’re proud to be partnered with the Alberta Brewers, and we’re looking forward to helping breweries build up their businesses with great local events.
